The Today’s Group is seeking to help independent retailers make more of the growing food to go market by extending its Plan for Profit guide series with a new digital booklet covering ‘On-the-Go’ solutions.

Worth £5.8bn and growing at 4.5% year on year within convenience, the ‘On-the-Go’ food and drink sector presented independent retailers with a significant opportunity to profit, The Today’s Group said.

The new digital guide showcases a comprehensive range of food and drink solutions from a number of the Today’s Group’s specialist supplier partners, available at exclusive discounted rates.

“Whether a retailer is looking for an entry level food offering or a larger, more detailed approach, the Today’s Group can provide a range of products and services to fulfil the needs of independent retailers operating within a variety of store sizes,” it added.

Within the series of guides, independent retailers can also access category advice on impulse, wines and craft beers.

The new Grocery & Non Food core range guide will also be available in selected Today’s Group member wholesalers and online from 6 August.
