
Heineken UK has launched a Halloween-themed marketing campaign for Strongbow in a bid to maximise cider sales in the build up to spooky season.
Strongbow is the UK’s number one cider brand at Halloween, according to Nielsen.
Launching next month, the ‘Spine-chilling Refreshment’ campaign will spotlight Strongbow Dark Fruit.
The campaign aims to help retailers capitalise on the seasonal sales opportunity through a “significant marketing investment”.
It will span social media promotion, influencer partnerships and sampling activations at targeted university campuses.
Rachel Holms, cider brand director at Heineken UK, said: “Halloween is a fantastic event for retailers and wholesalers to get involved and have fun with, as adults up and down the country look to celebrate, dress up and socialise with friends and family.
