The company’s expanded festive line-up includes returning family favourites as well as a brand-new addition to the Carr’s Christmas line-up – Carr’s Rich & Savoury Rosemary Crackers.

The new snacks join the popular Carr’s Seasonal Selection, which will once again “provide retailers with an opportunity to drive higher value sales among shoppers looking to elevate their savoury biscuit selections during the festive season,” it says.

“The seasonal sales opportunity is becoming more and more lucrative each year, driven by household-name brands with festive products that have long been seen as must-have Christmas classics,” explains Beth Owen, brand manager for Pladis UK&I.

“Rosemary is a popular flavour, which makes our new Carr’s offering perfect for festive snacking. Carr’s is the number one premium cracker brand during the Christmas season, where it plays into hosting and social occasions when people are willing to spend more.”

Also new for this festive season is Christmas jumper-themed livery for the iconic Jacob’s Christmas Caddy range, with reindeers, Santa, foxes and snowmen showcased across the likes of Mini Twiglets, Crinklys and Mini Cheddars Original.

“We’re introducing Jacob’s favourite brands in a fun Christmas Caddy format, which is perfect for sharing moments over the seasonal period,” says Ciaran Conway, senior brand manager at Pladis UK&I.

“The new pack designs are synonymous with Christmas, designed to unlock family fun and enjoyment for younger consumers. This fully-recyclable and unique format is a Christmas favourite people seek out.”

Jacob’s Christmas Caddies (RRP £2.50) will be available in UK grocery as well as convenience stores and wholesale depots from the end of August, while Carr’s Rich & Savoury Rosemary Crackers (RRP £1.99) roll out from the end of September.
