Ferrero has launched a new Kinder Bueno Dark limited edition variant.

Available from January, the limited edition variant contains a wafer covered in dark chocolate and encased in a smooth milky hazelnut filling.

Ferrero has also launched an on-pack promotion giving shoppers £5 off Nails Inc. products and services. To accompany this, Kinder Bueno is also offering shoppers the chance to win one of 5,000 limited edition Kinder Bueno nail varnishes.

The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign, including print, digital, social media and sampling, to drive awareness of the promotion amongst the brand’s target audience of 25 to 34-year-old women.

Levi Boorer, customer development director of Ferrero, said: “The on-pack offer will encourage trial and we know that Kinder Bueno has an excellent repeat rate – nearly a third of consumers that have tried it, but it again.”

A survey by Neilson showed that Kinder Bueno is currently performing ahead of the count lines market within the impulse channel, growing at +27.8%.
