Wrigley is growing its Starburst portfolio with FaveReds. Comprising strawberry, raspberry, cherry and red apple flavours, FaveReds are available in 45g sticks (rrp 49p) and 192g pouches (rrp £1.28). The product will be the first Starburst SKU to feature the brand’s new pack design which includes a bigger, bolder logo, providing optimum stand-out on-shelf. 

Wrigley confections business unit director Matt Austin says: “Like a mix tape of favourite songs, new Starburst FaveReds brings all the delicious red flavours consumers love together in one ‘Unexplainably Juicy’ pack. The launch is expected to deliver incremental sales to the confectionery category and is already a proven success in markets such as the US, where Starburst FaveReds has delivered outstanding results and is currently the second best-selling SKU in the Starburst range. We expect sales in the UK to replicate this achievement and cement our status as one of the UK’s largest confectionery brands.”

The Starburst range is currently worth £23m, growing 2.2% year-on-year.
