
Snappy Shopper has announced a ‘strategic partnership’ with Empros Retail, making the digital marketing specialist as its preferred partner for UK retailers.
The agreement shows an ambition to provide independent and group convenience retailers with the “digital tools needed to compete in a market where digital visibility is now essential,” Snappy Shopper said.
Having worked together since 2023, the partnership formalises a relationship that’s delivered measurable results for stores, combining Snappy Shopper’s market leading home delivery with Empros Retail’s “data driven social media and performance marketing expertise.”
Snappy Shopper admits independent retailers are operating in one of the most competitive environments the sector has faced in decades. It also notes that while delivery has rapidly become an expectation rather than a luxury, many stores still lack the marketing support to fully capitalise on demand.
Empros Retail director, Fraser MacDonald, said: “There are two things that are super important for retailers right now. One is getting online and utilising digital marketing. The second is offering fast, reliable home delivery.”
Originally operating as a broader marketing agency, the Empros retail division evolved following its initial collaboration with Snappy Shopper to support stores in driving delivery sales through social media.
For Snappy Shopper, the partnership represents a broader strategy to strengthen the support for its retailer network. Rich Wetton, marketing director, added: “Convenience retailers are competing with national operators investing heavily in digital marketing. Delivery is only one piece of the puzzle. Retailers also need the tools to market themselves effectively and retain customers long term.”
Two packages are available to Snappy Shopper retailers: a Community Essentials package focused on building local audiences and engagement, and a Sales Growth package leveraging live pixel tracking and customer retargeting to maximise return on ad spend.
