Ben & Jerry’s is adding a new variant to its line-up, Ben & Jerry’s Save Our Swirled.

Available to retailers from October, Save Our Swirled is a blend of raspberry ice cream with “rivers of marshmallow” and raspberry-blackberry swirls and chocolatey cone pieces, rrp £4.99, and each case contains eight pints.

The Save Our Swirled campaign was launched to inspire consumers across the globe to demand climate action. With the Paris climate summit approaching at the end of this year, Ben & Jerry’s is promoting Avaaz’s worldwide petition to world leaders calling for a transition to 100% clean energy.

To coincide with this and the brand’s commitment to dramatically reduce its carbon footprint in an effort to reduce global warming, Ben & Jerry’s is raising awareness of its overarching climate campaign in store with the new variant.

Ed Shepherd, social mission manager at Ben & Jerry’s, said: “Ben & Jerry’s has a rich heritage of campaigning for climate change, and through launching Save Our Swirled we hope to encourage our fans to join us in calling on leaders around the world to support the transition to 100% clean energy.”
