Nestle Confectionery is hoping to cheer up Kitkat consumers this January with an instant win holiday giveaway. Its Make a Break for It on-pack promotion offers the chance to win a holiday to one of 10 exotic destinations, including Miami, Cuba, Thailand and Barbados.

The competition also includes 100 getaway goodies to be won every day during the promotional period with prizes including Kitkat branded passport covers, sun visors, beach towels and luggage straps. Kitkat will be on TV from 21 January as part of a £4.5m media campaign, with a specific Make A Break for It tag featuring across February.

Promotional packs will be available across the market from January 2019 with formats featured including consumer favourites Kitkat four Finger, Kitkat Chunky, Kitkat two Finger and Kitkat Bites.

Each holiday prize, worth up to £8,000, can be won by a bar with a winning ticket inside. The special winning chocolate bar will feature the name of the dream holiday destination written on it in white chocolate. The 100 Getaway Goodies can be won every day by consumers entering online the unique promotional code found inside packs to discover instantly if they are a winner.

A new media campaign will launch on 4 February to support the Make a Break For It activity, and will include six sheet posters, social and digital media.
