The launch of Wall’s latest innovation, Volcanix, has brought fresh excitement to the category. To help make the launch a success, Wall’s has collaborated with five retailers to create a set of unique experiential and sampling activations designed to put Volcanix directly into shoppers’ hands and build awareness ahead of the peak summer season.
To bring the activations to life, Wall’s provided each retailer with bespoke branded point-of-sale (POS), including archways, floor and window vinyls, banners and enough stock to ensure they could hit the ground running.
The activations transformed stores with eye-catching displays, product sampling and bold branding, helping retailers build excitement within their communities, encourage shopper trial and drive impulse sales.
“Volcanix looks like a great option for the summer. It’s been stopping shoppers in their tracks. We handed out over 100 samples and feedback so far has been great – those who try it are loving it and I think they’ll be coming back for more!” said Bobby Singh of BB Superstore.
Vrajesh Patel of Londis Dagenham added: “Customers were really curious about Volcanix because it’s not something they’d seen before. We always see an increase in footfall when we run activations like this – the more eye-catching the better.”
A new proposition for the freeze aisle, the standout feature of Volcanix is its five indulgent layers. It combines a crunchy chocolate biscuit coating with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, a rich caramel sauce core and chocolate-coated caramel rocks, creating an indulgent treat designed to appeal to shoppers looking for something new and exciting this summer.
