This winter, Rowse Honey and Trussell are joining forces in a powerful new partnership rooted in shared values, ambitious goals and urgent action to end hunger in the UK.

Trussell is a UK anti-poverty charity and community of 1,400 food bank locations supported by 36,000 volunteers, 12,000 churches and hundreds of thousands of community groups and schools.

Through this partnership, Rowse is proud to support Trussell’s core mission, which is providing emergency food and practical support to people who don’t have enough money to live on today, and working with communities to ensure everyone gets help long before they need a food bank.

“From the hive to the community, we believe every small drop adds up,” said Marine Bourbon, head of marketing of natural sweetness at supplier Valeo Foods UK.

“By joining Trussell this winter, we’re helping spread joy through a simple act - buying honey - and to spread hope by backing a movement that refuses to settle for food banks as the norm.”

Running until 31 December, every participating pack of Rowse runny honey sold at all major UK retailers during the campaign period will see 10p donated to Trussell.

Rowse Honey is committed to donating a total of £50,000, which could help provide emergency food to over 3,500 people facing hunger this winter.

Packs’ print and on-pack tagline reads Spread Some Joy. Meanwhile, the digital and social tagline is to be Spread Some Hope. :

Penny Russell, key partnerships manager at Trussell, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Rowse Honey. Together we share a vision for a UK where nobody needs a food bank to survive. We all have a part to play and together we will end hunger in the UK.”
