Kerry Foods is launching a new competition, giving retailers a chance to win £150 worth of experience vouchers.

Running through the summer, there will be a winner a week for 15 weeks. 

To enter the competition, retailers should visit the Kerry Foods trade website and submit their details on the competition page to download the snacking category tips.

Retailers can double their chances of winning by tweeting about their entry. 

Ian Garrett, sales director for convenience at Kerry Foods, said: “Summer is an exciting time for convenience stores, however retailers need to ensure they are prepared and plan ahead to maximise the sales potential. Our internal data suggests that with the right range, promotion and merchandising, retailers could see an uplift of 8% or more in their chilled snacking sales during this key season.

With 30% of shoppers saying that they are likely to spend more on this channel during the summer period on BBQ, snacks, soft drinks and picnic items.
