Carabao Cricket incentive

Fruity energy brand Carabao, which boasts low calories and lower sugar, is giving retailers the chance to attend England Cricket matches this summer.

To qualify, retailers need to purchase a case of Carabao, take a picture of the cans sitting in their chillers and head to the competition landing page to be entered into the prize draw.

There are tickets up for grabs for the following fixtures:

  • England vs Sri Lanka at the Kia Oval on Thursday 1 July 2021 (2nd ODI)

  • England vs Pakistan at Lord’s on Saturday 10 July 2021 (2nd ODI)

  • England vs India at Lord’s on Thursday 12 August 2021 (Day 1, 2nd Test)

Carabao has had a strong start to 2021 and has grown value sales by 54% in the latest 13 weeks within the Independent channel, buoyed by the launch of Mixed Berry PMP.

Mark Tanner, head of wholesale and independent at Carabao Energy Drink UK&I said: “Well known for key sports sponsorships in the UK, Carabao is excited to offer retailers the chance to win tickets for cricket this summer. The occasion of watching live sport has been sorely missed during the past year and we can’t wait to see fans back in stadiums very soon.”

According to Carabao, all products contain 60% less sugar than major competitors and only 63 calories per can. It claims that the brand’s Mixed Berry variant was the second most successful launch in the Energy Instant Consumption category for 2020.
