Marqués de la Concordia is celebrating its bicentenary with two new Cavas.

The new additions are a limited edition Marques de la Concordia Gran Reserva and a Blanc de Blancs.

The new Marques De La Concordia Gran Reserva (rrp £14.99) will have a limited production of just 43,000 bottles. It is made using 30% Chardonnay, 25% Xarel-Lo, 25% Macabeo, and 20% Parellada grapes which are handpicked from 40 year old vines. This Cava is aged in the bottle for 38 months in 30 metre deep cellars and includes a collector’s cap to commemorate the bicentenary of the ennoblement of Marqués de la Concordia. It is straw yellow in colour with flavours of ripe apricots, peaches, nuts, toasted bread and citrus.

The Marques de la Concordia Cava Blanc de Blancs (rrp £12.99) is made from 25% Chardonnay, 30% Xarel-Lo, 25% Macabeo and 20% Parellada and is aged for 24 months. It offers flavours of yeasty brioche with a tropical and citrus fruit finish.
