KP Snacks is expanding its popular pricemarked pack (PMP) range with the return of a classic and well-loved flavour - Discos Pickled Onion.

After being absent from shelves since 2005, Disco’s Pickled Onion makes a bold return, tapping into the ongoing consumer appetite for nostalgia with its sharp, zingy flavour. Available from the 14 July, the returning favourites come in 70g £1.35 PMPs.

The new flavour joins Discos’ PMP portfolio, which includes Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar. It also capitalises on the strength of PMPs in the crisps, snacks and nuts category, KP says.

Stuart Graham, head of convenience and impulse at KP Snacks, said: “We know that PMP is the fastest growing segment in the convenience and impulse channel, and we’re committed to refreshing and expanding our PMP portfolio with the right products to help retailers drive sales.

“By relaunching Discos Pickled Onion, we’re tapping into the growth of these formats, while also meeting shopper demand for nostalgic moments by returning an iconic flavour to shelves.”
