Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd (CCE) continues its iconic Christmas activity this year with a new limited edition on-pack bow design.

Following on from the launch of its Christmas truck on-pack promotion, nationwide truck tour and ‘holidays are coming’ TV campaign, Coca-Cola Enterprises’ 1.75 litre Coca-Cola products will be wrapped up for Christmas.

Available from the beginning of December the new labels will feature across Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Life variants.

The labels will turn into bows by pulling on the label and transforming the bottle into a gift. The new format will be supported by an OOH and digital advertising campaign.

The festive edition will also be supported by in-store POS and the launch of this year’s ‘Give a little happiness’ TV advert which airs nationwide early December and will feature a ten second homage to the new bow bottle format.

The advert incorporates the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck and Sundblom Santa.

Coca-Cola Enterprises director of operational marketing Caroline Cater said: “Christmas is the most popular calendar moment of the year, and as soft drinks is the most frequently bought category during the festive season[1], it’s vital we help retailers to make the most of the opportunity and offer exciting national campaigns to boost sales.

“In line with this, our new festive format will be backed by a substantial marketing spend, which includes our ‘Give a little happiness’ advert to further increase visibility over the holiday season. We’d therefore recommend retailers stay stocked up on our Coca-Cola range to capitalise on the occasion.”
