Chupa Chups says it’s shaking up confectionery aisles once again, with the launch of Pinkis, the latest addition to its range of jelly sweets.
Pinkis are bouncing onto shelves this month, with a soft, mallowy jelly and striking pink hue, which offers a uniquely fluffy texture, combined with a vibrant strawberry flavour.
Priced at a shopper-friendly £1.25 and available in pricemarked packs, Pinkis deliver on both taste and value – two critical drivers of the category, Chuipa Chups says. Designed to help retailers boost their on-the-go sweet sales, drive impulse purchases and recruit incremental shoppers, Pinkis are aiming to bring more than just flavour to the fixture.
Kim McMahon, brand manager, said: “Chupa Chups is already known for bringing fun and flavour to confectionery, and with Pinkis, we’re taking that playful spirit to a whole new level. We’ve seen huge momentum behind our jellies range and this launch builds on that with something completely fresh.
“We know texture is a huge driver of excitement in the category, and Pinkis brings something genuinely different with its soft, fluffy bite and eye-catching pink pop. We can’t wait to see it on shelves and are looking forward to seeing how shoppers respond to this fun new addition.”
