Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is giving independent convenience retailers the chance to win a share of £30,000 throughout November to help make Christmas extra special for their customers and local area.

Through its new initiative, ‘The World Needs More Santas Like You’, each day one randomly-selected retailer will win £1,000 – £500 of which is to donate to a nominated registered local charity or good cause and the other £500 is to help make Christmas extra special in their local community by hosting a festive event or celebration.

Running from Wednesday 1 November, independent convenience retailers must be registered on to enter the daily free prize draw. The competition should be entered daily to be in with a chance to win (retailers can only win once) and closes on Thursday 30 November, with winners contacted the day after each draw.

Convenience & wholesale associate director at CCEP GB Ruth Fawcett, said: “The Coca-Cola brand has been bringing people together at key seasonal occasions for decades and has become synonymous with Christmas. This year’s festive campaign is about inspiring small acts of kindness, be that within a family, hometown of wider community.

“We know that many convenience retailers are every day Santas all year round, supporting their local communities and cementing their businesses as hubs of their local areas. We hope this community fund will help retailers further ‘Unleash their inner Santas’, helping them to make Christmas extra special in their local communities through vital charitable donations, in-store campaigns, and festive community events. We look forward to hearing about what our winners do with the money in December.”
