Cadbury has unveiled the new Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries & Creme Frappe flavour.

Inspired by chilled summer drinks and seasonal flavour trends, the limited-edition tablet aims to drive incremental chocolate sales during the warmer months as the product is best served chilled.

The release follows the success of last year’s limited edition Cadbury’s Iced Latte launch, which tapped into the “fridge vs cupboard” debate around how consumers enjoy their chocolate during the warmer months.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries & Creme Frappe combines Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate with a strawberry and creme frappe-inspired filling, tapping into growing demand for flavourful and indulgent seasonal treats.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries & Crème Frappe is available from June through the summer across the grocery and convenience channels.in a 115g PMP for £1.75.

Marketing manager Cadbury, at Mondelēz International, Michael Moore, said: “Seasonal innovation plays an important role in keeping the chocolate category exciting and relevant for shoppers year-round. This summer, our limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberries & Creme Frappe flavour taps into shoppers’ appetite for refreshing flavours, like strawberry, and the ongoing debate of putting your favourite chocolate in the fridge to enjoy it chilled.”
