Atkins, the low carb brand, has launched the brand’s first natural bar, Atkins Harvest.

Containing natural raw ingredients, it has 50% less sugar than other nut and seed bars on the market.

Boasting a clean label, the bars contain no artificial sweeteners, colouring or preservatives, have only 4,3g – 4,8g naturally occurring sugars per bar, are low carb, high in fibre and gluten-free.

The new range is available in three flavours, Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Caramel, Apricot Almond and Coconut and Mixed Nuts and Chocolate (rrp £1.85 per 40g bar).

The Atkins Harvest bars are sold in a 14 count of 2 x 7 bars, ideal for consumers on-the-go, front of store positioning and unlike other snacking bars on the market, is presented in a unique vertical display box, requiring minimal shelf space.

Unlike other Atkins bars, Atkins Harvest packaging is part-translucent, showcasing the ingredients inside.

Peter Valentine, UK managing director, said: “We’ve been incredibly excited to launch Atkins Harvest to the market, a natural bar that’s low in sugar, carbs and high fibre, with no compromise on quality and taste. The vertical on-shelf display has also received positive feedback all round, with its optimal shelf space ROI.

“The natural bar market is in high demand and the development of the Harvest range is in direct response to this. The Atkins portfolio continues to grow and we are confident we have a product that caters to all individual tastes and needs.”
