The Today’s Group has produced a soft drinks merchandising guide to help independent retailers make the most of the growing soft drinks category.

Produced with the help of Britvic and other major soft drink suppliers, it’s the first of what will be a series of key category-focused guides from Today’s Plan for Profit scheme for independent retailers.

Soft drinks is the largest FMCG category worth more than £7.5bn a year. In impulse, the category is worth £1.9bn and growing at 7% year on year.

Today’s Group will be distributing 20,000 guides through member wholesaler depots as well as through the Today’s retail club.
