Nisa Retail and Kellogg’s have teamed up to help ensure more children receive a proper breakfast.

Nisa is supporting the Kellogg’s ‘Help Give a Child Aa Breakfast’ campaign by donating funds to school breakfast clubs and foodbanks in their local communities.

In turn, Kellogg’s is donating £5,000 to Nisa’s Making A Difference Locally (MADL) charity pots which will be allocated to the 25 Nisa retailers who purchase the most packs with the brand’s ‘Buy a Box = Give a Bowl’ logo between August and October.

MADL brand manager Kate Carroll said the support will help the many children who go to school without a proper breakfast. “Nisa is really proud to be the only retail company to team up with Kellogg’s and to support such an important and prominent issue,” she said. “Every day in the UK one in seven children go to school without breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. This collaboration will help tackle these problems by putting the donations and the retailer truly in the heart of the community.”

This is the fifth year that Kellogg’s has supported the MADL scheme. Kellogg’s shopper marketing manager Ed Jones said: “We’re really proud of what we have achieved and we’re pleased to be working with Nisa on our annual ‘Help Give a Child a Breakfast’ campaign as together we can make a huge difference to local communities through these donations, to ensure children get the best possible start to the day.”
