Londis has launched a lower-cost epos system designed to be an entry-level solution for independent retailers.
The Londis BASE system costs £4,000 for a set-up comprising two tills, two cash drawers and scanners, plus two days of training. Each installation is integrated with Londis head office with product files downloaded weekly, so that retailers can access all relevant product, price and promotional information.
BASE is a scaled-down version of the existing Londis Manager system and has been piloted in Bindoo and Hamanshe Vashani’s store in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Bindoo said: “Londis BASE is very user-friendly. It will make our business run more efficiently and provides a solid base for development.”
