Cash-conscious shoppers will have their chocolate choices made all the easier thanks to Mars’ new pricemarked packs. Galaxy Large Sharing Blocks will be flashed at £1, while Mars’ core bar range which includes Mars, Snickers, Twix and Bounty will all be pricemarked at 49p. The company is advising retailers to contact their local rep to find out how to make the most of the promotion and the pos material available to support it. Mars claims that siting pricemarked packs at the till point can provide a 25% uplift in sales.
