Flavour specialists The Flava People - whose collaboration with Diageo saw the launch of an alcohol-free Baileys Caramel Sauce into UK supermarkets earlier this year, is venturing into the convenience channel with its branded offer thanks to new listings with Spar in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Baileys Caramel Sauce will launch into 400 Spar stores across Scotland and NI from this month, thanks to a distribution partnership with CJ Lang and Henderson’s Foodservice.
Scott Dixon, managing director of The Flava People, said: “Baileys Caramel Sauce has fast become a consumer favourite in supermarket retail.
“Now Spar shoppers looking for an indulgent, ambient and versatile product from the much-loved Baileys brand can pick one up in their local convenience store. The combination of Baileys being a trusted brand, ease-of-use, and a standout flavour profile makes it a perfect Christmas hero.
“Baileys is recognised by 98% of the UK population so there is instant shopper trust and a strong emotional resonance, making it a powerful tool for convenience retailers to drive volume sales and build basket value.”
The sauce brings the indulgent and distinctive taste of Baileys Irish Cream into a versatile, squeezy bottle that can be used across a variety of items, including desserts, hot drinks, ice cream, and paired with both alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks.
“The Baileys brand continues to thrive across multiple categories, and its arrival in Spar Scotland and Northern Ireland underscores how strategic collaborations can unlock further potential in adjacent markets.
“With the rise of home baking, elevated coffee culture and premium dessert experiences, Baileys Caramel Sauce is well-positioned to cater to these growing consumption occasions, further reinforcing The Flava People’s commitment to differentiated, high-impact offerings,” added Dixon.
Baileys Caramel Sauce has an RRP of £2 per 200ml.
