Strongbow is relaunching its Original, Cloudy Apple and Dark Fruit variants with a recipe that contains no artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.
As part of the brand’s focus on natural ingredients, Strongbow is also adding calorie and nutritional information labelling to all of its packaging.
Cindy Tervoort, marketing director at brand owner Heineken, said: “With the apple cider category hugely important to the off-trade, we’ve been on a mission to make our Strongbow offering even better and future-proof it for generations to come.
“Research tells us that consumer attitudes are changing; they are thinking more about what they consume and where it’s from – which includes being more mindful about ingredients too - so with this change we’re leading the way with Strongbow as you would expect from the number one cider brand in the category.”
The relaunched Strongbow Original (10 x 440ml cans, 4 x 44ml cans, 4 x 568ml cans) is available now with an rrp of £10, £4.25 and £5.50 respectively.
Strongbow Dark Fruit is available in the same formats with an rrp of £13, £5.50 and £6.75 respectively, while Strongbow Cloudy Apple comes in 4 x 440ml cans and is available now with an rrp of £4.50.
