Spar is hoping its new range of soups will help retailers appeal to shoppers this autumn and winter.
With an rrp of £1.80 each, the soups are available in three flavours: tomato and basil; vegetable; chicken and vegetable, and sold in single serve 400g pots.
Joanne Cramer, senior brand manager at Spar UK, said: “Our new 400g single serve tubs are very versatile, as they can be eaten throughout the day, whether it’s lunch on the go or for tonight’s tea.
“Our exciting new range of three delicious soups are made with traditional recipes, and are set to bring SPAR an incremental sales opportunity of £150,000 in year one. We are encouraging our retailers to offer all three products to help establish the range in store, as well as offering customers great choice at this key soup sales season.
She added: “The regular two for £3 promotion scheduled regularly throughout the year will help drive sales and volume and we know our retailers will make the most of this own label opportunity.”
