Ribena, the nation’s number one juice drink brand (IRI MarketPlace, GB, Juice Drink Segment, w/e 20.08.17), is launching an exclusive new carton flavour to the wholesale market

The new variant, by Lucozade Ribena Suntory, will launch alongside the brand’s existing cartons range. Ribena cartons have also been given new packaging, featuring fruit imagery, to help drive additional sales for the brand.

Charlotte Flook, marketing controller, at Lucozade Ribena Suntory, said: “Through the launch of the new Pineapple & Passion Fruit cartons, we’re opening up a real opportunity for independent retailers to offer something new. Tropical flavours are already hugely popular with consumers, so we’re confident this new SKU will give shoppers another reason to step through the doors of an independent store.

“Following the success of Ribena’s recent redesign across other formats, we’re bringing the brand’s fruity new look to our cartons range too. The vibrant packaging design has been proven to increase purchase intent, so is set to boost carton sales for retailers over the coming months.”

As part of Lucozade Ribena Suntory’s ongoing health and wellbeing plan, Ribena Pineapple and Passion Fruit contains fewer than 15 calories per serving.

Ribena Pineapple & Passion Fruit cartons are available now, exclusively for the wholesale channel, alongside the rest of the redesigned Ribena cartons range. Cartons are available at a case price of £6.46 for 24 and have an rrp of £0.69 each.
