Polish beer brand Żubr has introduced its first PMP format.

Its 4X500ml multipacks have been stamped with a £7.29 price mark and will be available in England and Wales through Parfetts, Dhamecha and Bestway.

The move aims to help c-store retailers “make more from the lucrative world lager segment”, said the Asahi-owned brand.

It follows in similar footsteps to fellow Asahi UK brand and Polish beer brand Tyskie, who launched a 4x500ml PMP at £6.79 in March.

“Price-marked packs are effective at driving consumer confidence in convenience, communicating to the shopper that they are getting a fair deal and good value,” said Rob Hobart, marketing director at Asahi UK.

“Price-marked packs frequently drive a much higher rate of sale in convenience than their non-price-marked equivalents. With Żubr already showing good growth in impulse stores, we’re confident this format will only drive sales further.”
