Swiss chocolatier Lindt is reigniting the magic of Christmas for those missing their childhood festive traditions while giving back to the NSPCC.
According to new research from Lindt, almost half of UK adults (45%) miss their childhood festive traditions. Over two thirds of adults (73%) say they used to enjoy discovering chocolate in their stocking.
In response, Lindt is giving away thousands of its iconic 100g Lindt Teddies, made with the finest Swiss chocolate to anyone who brings a stocking into a participating Lindt store.
More than 2,000 will be given away for free nationwide across two weekends in December (13-14 and 20-21) while stocks last. Participating Lindt stores include branches in London, Portsmouth, Leeds, Livingston and more.

Angèle Villet, marketing director at Lindt & Sprüngli UK, said: “Our research shows adults are nostalgic about their childhood traditions. Get your beloved stocking from the loft or treat yourself to a new one before heading to a participating Lindt store and add more magic into the season with Lindt Teddy.”
To further sweeten the deal, for every treat given away - and sold - during the festive period, £1 will be donated to the NSPCC to support Childline, Lindt’s longstanding charity partner, with a target of £100k. To date, Lindt & Sprüngli UK has raised over £800k for the NSPCC since the start of the partnership in 2016.
