KP Snacks is doubling investment in its Hula Hoops Flavarings range with a £2m advertising drive.
Running from 4 March until April, the new campaign will target families looking for sharing snacks and includes the Flavarings brand’s first TV advert.
The 30-second ad takes inspiration from stunts and pranks commonly shared on social media. The media campaign will also encompass out-of-home, digital and shopper marketing activations.
Kevin McNair, marketing director at KP Snacks, said: “We wanted to portray a home-made feel with this campaign, taking inspiration from the very home videos that our Hula Hoops consumers create with their families.
“With both the Hula Hoops Brand and the sharing segment experiencing double-digit growth, we are confident this new campaign will resonate with snackers and drive sales at every level in the supply chain, from wholesalers to independent retailers.”
Hula Hoops Flavarings are available to c-store retailers in cases of eight (rrp £1.50 per 90g sharing pack).
Flavours include: Tangy Cheese; Salt & Vinegar; and Spicy. A case size of 12 is also available on price-marked packs of Tangy Cheese (£1 PMP per 55g grab bag).
