Hancocks is launching a new flavour for its Mega Lolly range from Joseph Dobsons, available exclusively through its 20 cash and carries and online.

Dobsons and Hancocks have been in partnership for more than 25 years and the new elderflower flavoured Mega Lolly combines fruit and floral tones.

Maxime Domanski, category buyer for Hancocks, said: “With sales of Dobsons products increasing year on year for Hancocks, our partnership has gone from strength to strength meaning Dobsons have given us the opportunity to be exclusive for an entire 12 months on 4 new flavours of the mega lollipop. We have decided to launch a new flavour for each season of 2018, starting with elderflower for Spring.”

There are more than 50 flavours in the Dobsons Mega Lolly range (rrp 15p per 90 lollipop jar, por 33.4%). Independent retailers can order the range from Hancocks directly or using their online website.

Wayne Beedle, Hancocks CEO, added: “Offering a nationwide click and collect service means that customers will no longer be confined by their location or have to wait on scheduled delivery slots to get their stock to their business 7 days a week.

Gaining insights from customer, consumers, employees and external market research helps to understand flavour trends, which is key when launching a new product to the wholesale and consumer market.”
