Gato & Co, the handmade free-from plant-based pudding company, has extended its range and added more cake into its products to offer better value for money.

New Salted Caramel Sticky Toffee Pudding will join the existing range of Melting Chocolate Fondant and Chocolate & Coconut Brownie (distributed by Marigold).

The handmade puddings are made with whole, simple ingredients, free from gluten, dairy, and refined sugar. The pots have been upsized from 53-55g to 80g+ whilst retaining the same RRP of £2.29 per pot.

Containing 40-50% less sugar per gram than comparable pudding pots, Gato cakes are guilt-free as they are made with unrefined ingredients such as ground almonds (used in place of flour), almond milk, raw cacao, creamed coconut and even courgette and aubergine (used in place of butter).

Salted Caramel Sticky Toffee Pudding is made with dates, maple syrup, Madagascan vanilla and a subtle mix of spices. Ground almonds and silky courgette replace wheat flour and butter.

When I figured out that cutting refined food and embracing whole, nutritious ingredients clearly improved my health and energy levels, I realised it was time to come back to my roots. I started this exciting baking adventure and began exploring a world of tasty and nutritious alternatives. After several months of training at Le Cordon Bleu, I created a new range of free-from, indulgent puddings that are both tasty and packed with natural goodness…tadaa! Gato & Co was born!”
