Nisa-affiliated retail chain David Sands is to invest in a multi-million pound store expansion scheme over the next 12 months.
The group’s ambitious growth plans were revealed as it unveiled an impressive set of full year results. Sales at the Kinross-based group jumped to £29m in 2007 from £24.8m in 2006, while pre-tax operating profit rose to £1.06m from £910,000 in the year ending December 31, 2007.
The company, which operates 26 stores in Fife, Perthshire and Kinross, has recently restructured its senior management team as part of a new strategy to drive the business forward.
“We remain committed to ramping up our acquisition and store refurbishment programme and currently have three new stores in the pipeline,” said chief executive officer David Sands.
