Co-op Wholesale has unveiled a relaunch for the Nisa brand that features a new look and increased focus on promotions.
As reported by our sister title, The Grocer, Co-op Wholesale managing director Katie Secretan revealed the new look at its partner summit earlier this week which will bring the fascia more in line with Co-op branding.
According to The Grocer, Secretan explained the new fascia will still feature the Nisa yellow colour but will use the Co-op typeface and a navy blue background.
“Nisa has served us well and is really credible in the symbol market on its own, but it does feel a little outdated,” said Secretan. “Modernising Nisa and the symbol group is really important to make sure we stay bold and focused in the market.”
The Nisa relaunch begins on 1 January and will also feature an enhanced focus on “food missions, promotions, and in-store activations.
“In today’s symbol market, there are lots of retailers with a sign above their door, but they’re not really ingrained in that business,” added Secretan. “This relaunch is a full new proposition, and we expect this to drive significant sales and help retailers make their shop work better for them and their communities.”
