Bestway Wholesale took to its social media channels this weekend to celebrate the commencement of a promotional collaboration with food suppliers and local councils in its depots to help make healthy eating affordable for all families.
“We’re delighted to launch the next stage of the Good Food Retail Network,” it said. “This isn’t just a campaign - it’s a long-term transformation of the wholesale sector.”
From today, Bestway will be activating a dedicated Healthier Products Week across seven of its key London depots - Barking, Croydon, Enfield, Hackney, Lewisham, Park Royal and Southall.
It added that by uniting wholesalers, suppliers and local government, it has created a scalable blueprint for the industry. Suppliers involved in the promotion include Hovis, CCEP, General Mills, Mars, Weetabix and more.
“For Bestway, this is central to our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments - supporting public health, anticipating policy shifts and helping independent retailers grow sustainably,” it added.
Retailers can access exclusive deals across Bestway’s Healthier 100 range, making it easier to provide affordable, nutritious and HFSS-compliant products to local communities.
