Having acquired Fredericks Dairies and the £32.4m Cadbury Creme Egg brand last year, R&R is launching the number one Easter treat in a host of new ice cream formats.
The treat size mini cone features vanilla ice cream in a biscuit wafer with a fondant sauce and a head dipped in Cadbury milk chocolate. A multi-pack of eight 25ml Creme Egg Mini Cones retails at £2.49. The 480ml Creme Egg Tub (rrp: £3) is filled with vanilla ice cream, fondant sauce and chunks of Cadbury chocolate.
The launches will be supported by a PR campaign, POS and in-store promotions and a social campaign that will appeal to Creme Egg‘s 2.6 million Facebook fans. R&R anticipates sales of the new SKUs to exceed more than £3.4m in the three month period that the product is available for.
