A newly reopened Co-op has just launched in the seaside village of Cruden Bay, on the east coast of Scotland.
The relaunch includes the village’s Post Office following an extensive investment programme to extend, modernise and enhance the previous shop on the site.
The store’s Post Office also reopened following its closure last September to allow the owners of the site to undertake the works. While the new-look extended convenience store - operating as a Co-op Franchise - brings an enhanced range and choice of fresh and chilled products to the coastal community.
The store was one of four Co-ops to open in the week before Easter, with other sites including Innerleithen, Pickering and Whiteman’s Green in Cuckfield.
Kamran Tahir, manager of the Cruden Bay store, said: “Following an extensive investment programme to extend and enhance the existing store we’re absolutely delighted to open our doors and welcome the community into their new Co-op and Post Office.”
