Co-op Wholesale - home of Nisa - has officially launched a new Nisa Bassingbourn store in Cambridgeshire, which is now open to the public.
Located on Old North Road, Royston, the new store has benefited from a full fit out of the new Nisa proposition. Standing at 1200 sq.ft., the area’s newest Nisa convenience store is already trading well, thanks to its “excellent proposition, location and set up,” Co-op Wholesale added.
Business owner Aysel Gok will operate the store serving the bustling residential area with vital food for now, on the go food and drink solutions, snacks, treats, alcohol, fresh produce and more.
The new store gives local shoppers access to a wide range of everyday essentials, fresh food and Co-op brand products.
Warm welcome
James Townsend, regional development manager at Co-op Wholesale, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Aysel into the Nisa group. The store’s in a superb location and set up to trade well, serving the community and making a brilliant retail business.”

Also, via Making A Difference Locally (MADL), £500 has been donated to Cambridge Search and Rescue (CamSAR) from Nisa Bassingbourn.
Kate Carroll, social value lead at MADL, said: “We’re delighted Aysel chose to support Cambridgeshire Search and Rescue with this £500 donation.
“Their volunteers carry out vital work searching for vulnerable missing people, often in the most challenging conditions. MADL exists to help local charities like CamSAR continue the essential work they do for their communities.”
