In an effort to tap into the growing popcorn trend, Walkers has unveiled a range of fusion-inspired flavours.

New Walkers Sensations Popcorn are available in three variants - Thai sweet chilli, sweet cinnamon & salt and sweet Indian spices. The 90g sharesize packs have an rrp of £1.59.

The range aims to capitalise on the recent success of the popcorn category which has seen year-on-year growth of 25.4% (Nielsen).

Pepsico senior marketing manager Annika Meeks said: “With research indicating that popcorn sales are in growth, Walkers Sensations has identified a gap in the market for retailers to maximize sales by providing a range which gives new meaning to the ‘sweevoury’ trend.”
