
The Wholesale Group (TWG) has launched Core Juices, the first range under its new Core own-brand label.
Core Juices is available in three flavours: Orange (RRP: £1.99), Apple (RRP: £1.39) and Cranberry (RRP: £1.19).
Core Orange and Core Apple are made from 100% juice from concentrate with no additives. While Core Cranberry offered a “sharper, sweet-tart profile”, ideal for shoppers looking for a versatile juice for home mixing as well as standalone consumption, said the wholesaler.
The juices are packed in recyclable 1L slimline Tetra cartons, with an 8–9 month shelf life.
Cartons are recommended to be refrigerated once opened, making them suitable for both retail display and food-to-go or foodservice crossover environments, TWG said.
The range forms part of TWG’s wider strategy to strengthen its own-brand proposition, while providing convenience and independent retailers with a “dependable, everyday juice offer with strong commercial appeal”, the wholesaler added.
Richard Ellison, own brand manager at TWG, said: “Core Juices has been created to give retailers exactly what they need from an everyday juice range – simplicity, consistency and confidence. These are high-demand flavours in a practical format, designed to work hard on shelf while being easy to store, replenish and sell.”
