Tuk In is introducing a new way to ‘eat colourful’ with the launch of its curry-in-a-naan range.

This convenient, self-contained format delivers a high quality, mess free and stress free snacking solution that boasts 100% natural ingredients.

The brainchild of two former banking co-workers; Tuk In’s creators, Tom Cropper and Sanjay Sood-Smith, have turned their shared obsession with Indian food into a flourishing food business.

A former competitor on The Apprentice, Sanjay’s experiences with Lord Sugar, highlighted that his career in banking was failing to deliver the spice he was looking for and a more entrepreneurial path quickly beckoned.

Having grown up being sent to school with his mum’s chicken tikka sandwiches, Sanjay and his business partner have developed an accessible, new convenience food. Tuk In’s innovative snacking format means that curry lovers can indulge their passion anytime, anywhere.

Sanjay said: “Everyone knows that the best way to eat a curry is scooping it up in a bit of naan. That’s why we came up with Tuk In curry-in-a-naan, to help you enjoy the delicious taste of curry no matter where you are. We hope the concept captures people’s imaginations and that Tuk In becomes your must-pack-snack. The brand embraces the flavours of far-flung places and you can still enjoy the taste of the exotic, even if you’re sat at your desk in Peckham!”

Initially introducing three familiar flavours, the curry-in-a-naan trio gradually turn up the heat with their specially blended spice recipes.

The mild Korma is Tuk In’s gentle introduction; a rich and creamy sauce combined with the distinctive sweetness of coconut.

The medium Tikka recipe blends creamy tomato with added bite from chilli and paprika.

The hot Jalfrezi is a spicy mix of onions, tomato, peppers, cardamom, coriander, chilli and garlic.

The authentic curries are made using British halal chicken breast, mixed with pilau rice and sealed in soft naan bread. Using all natural ingredients to create a range which is low in sugar, saturated fat and a good source of protein. The chilled packs have a 10 day shelf life and each 200g serving delivers a meal that is suitable for heating in the oven or microwave.
