DIAGEO GB is investing more than £5m in the Guinness brand this Christmas. Activity will include TV, press, radio and outdoor advertising, new seasonal point of sale material and a range of gift packs.

● The company says this is a key time of year for Guinness, with value sales for the brand increasing 33% in the eight-week festive period last year.

● A range of 16 Guinness gift packs includes the Guinness Tasting Experience – a box with two bottles of Guinness Original, two pint glasses, coasters, a bottle opener and towel. Gift pack rrps range from £5 to £16.

● The TV ad campaign, ‘17:59 It’s Guinness Time’, will air throughout November and December.
