Stockley’s revamped Lancashire Mix and the new Chocolate Candy Cane sweets.

This month, sweet maker Stockley’s portfolio will see the arrival of Chocolate Candy Cane Sweets to its flourishing gift carton offer, as well as a packaging refresh for its popular Lancashire Mix, both with Christmas in mind.

The canes are described as “bite-sized takes on the classic Victorian candy cane” and combine cool peppermint shells with a dark chocolate core, all resplendent in their striped, barber sign livery. Th 250g packs carry an RRP of £5.49.

The Lancashire Mix, meanwhile, is a “random jumble of Pear Drops, Rhubarbs & Custards, Rosy Apples, Strawberries & Creams and chewy centred Cola Cubes & Pineapple Chunks that offer a proud balance of bold flavours, happy childhood memories” and a ‘sweet stamina,’ meaning they don’t melt too quickly.

The Lancashire prefix is essentially the ”tipping of the hat to the region’s proud confectionery roots,” Stockley’s said, and a long overdue celebration of so many cult sugar confectionery classics. The revamped 125g packs carry an RRP of £1.49.
