Pot Noodle is targeting shoppers in the convenience channel by launching price marked packs for its King Pot range, which are available to order now.

The leading brand from Unilever UK is making three of its most popular flavours in the King Pot range – Chicken & Mushroom, Beef & Tomato and Original Curry – available in a PMP format as it looks to encourage consumers to trade up from the 90g version of their favourite flavours to the larger 114g format.

Monique Rossi, Pot Noodle marketing manager at Unilever UK, said: “Price marked pack versions of our standard sized 90g flavours have been phenomenally popular, particularly in convenience stores and independents, and we’re looking to replicate that success for our King Pots range.

“By launching three of our most popular flavours in price marked packs we’re aiming to show shoppers value for money, encourage them to trade up to the larger versions of their favourite flavours and attract new consumers into the Instant Hot Snacks category.”

The Pot Snacks category as a whole is in growth, but the convenience channel is showing the biggest opportunity with a substantial increase of +12.7% compared to 3.8% growth in the total market.

Pot Noodle King Pot flavours are available in cases of 12 (rrp £1.29 per unit).
