Pot Noodle has launched a new Mac & Cheese flavour.
On shelf now, the new variant will offer one of the UK’s most popular flavours – cheese – in the quick, convenient and tasty 90g Pot Noodle format.
The variant launches to tap into the cheese flavour trend, which Pot Noodle says has seen a massive increase in usage as part of savoury snacks over the past five years ( Kantar Worldpanel), and appeals to consumers attracted to a new flavour profile from the popular brand.
Unilever UK’s Pot Noodle marketing manager Monique Rossi said: “Taste and convenience are the top two drivers of growth within the Instant Hot Snacks category. By launching one of the UK’s key flavours in growth to our portfolio we’re appealing to an even wider group of consumers who are looking for a simple and quick hot snack with excellent taste credentials.”
Pot Noodle’s new Mac & Cheese flavour follows the launch of the ‘You Can Make It’ brand campaign in 2015 and forms part of an exciting 2016 plan for the brand that is being supported by a £5 million marketing investment in TV, OOH, PR, and social.
Pot Noodle Mac & Cheese is available in cases of 12 (rrp £1.09 per unit).
