The Cadbury Creme Egg Gooless campaign is set to reward both consumers and c-stores this Easter.

Running from 1 January to Easter Sunday on 20 April, every day one lucky consumer will unwrap a gooless egg and win up to £1000. Mondelez International will then match the prize for the retailer where the winner buys their egg in either Mondelez International stock vouchers or Love To Shop vouchers. Last Easter, the Cadbury Creme Egg single format saw a 44% year-on-year increase in unit sales in January, bringing in 20% more consumers throughout the total season compared to the year before, claims the firm.

In addition, the firm is launching a 20g Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Bunny treats, which are set to be a countertop hit, alongside the ever popular Cadbury Mini Eggs, which were worth over £25m in 2013. “We recommend that retailers stock 77g £1 price-marked packs of Mini Eggs to help encourage impulse sales,” says trade communications manager Susan Nash. “This year, they’re available in smaller 12-unit cases, which are ideal for new and smaller retailers.”
