US free from brand Lucy’s is now available in UK grocery and convenience sectors.
The cookies come in 37g on the go bags, priced at 99p, or in a 156g box containing 16 cookies, priced at £2.99.
The fast growing £200m gluten free range was launched in 2007. Developed by Dr Lucy Gibney, Lucy’s biscuits are crunchy and light, made without milk, eggs, peanuts or tree nuts, prefer for those suffering with severe allergies. They contain no trans fats or high fructose corn syrup and are also suitable for vegans.
Lucy’s biscuits come in seven varieties, chocolate mint, chocolate chip, cinnamon thin, maple bliss, oatmeal cookies, ginger snap and sugar cookie.
Retailers can order these biscuits now from organic wholesaler Tree of Life.
Tree of Life’s commercial director, Mike Kilcourse said: “Often eating free-from products means sacrificing taste, but that’s not the case with Lucy’s gluten and allergy friendly cookies.”
