Lucozade Sport is set to launch a big fitness giveaway fronted by Lucozade Sport ambassador, Harry Kane.

The promotion, which goes live from May 23, will offer consumers the chance to win a Fitbit Charge HR activity tracker worth £120 every 90 minutes with on-pack codes redeemable online.

Consumers will enter their code online at www.lucozadesport.com to find out instantly if they’ve won and winners will be able to choose the colour and size of their Fitbit Charge HR.

Research has shown that consumers are more likely to buy non-alcoholic drinks during the Euros and Olympics compared to the Rugby World Cup (33% of shoppers for Euros vs. 22% for the Rugby World Cup).

The promotion follows Lucozade Sport’s ambition to inspire people across the country to get active and will be supported by a content-led campaign. Additionally, a partnership with Tesco will offer the opportunity for footballers to win free pitch time on Lucozade Powerleague 5-a-side pitches across the UK.

The book to order date for retailers is May 16 - on-pack codes will be available on both individual and multipacks of Orange, Raspberry and Mango & Passion Fruit flavours. The promotion will be supported with in-store point of sale material featuring Harry Kane.

Lucozade Sport head of marketing, Steven Hind said: “Lucozade Sport has long been associated with active lifestyles and fitness and I am excited to launch this on pack promotion with Fitbit and our brand ambassador, and sporting icon, Harry Kane.”

“Our last on pack promotionto win rugby shirts during the Rugby World Cup led to a 6% uplift in volume sales share during the promotion[2]. We feel that by giving away such a high value and desirable prize we can drive consumers into stores to take advantage of this great promotion.”
