Lucozade Sport has launched a new app that encourages the nation to get more active by using prize giveaways as an incentive. 

The Made to Move app is free to download and live now until the July 31 and will be supported by £2.5m marketing spend across social, digital and OOH.

The app rewards every user with a free Pure Gym Day Pass and enters them into daily and weekly prize draws for every 5,000 steps taken. Prizes range from FA cup final tickets, FitBit Charge 2s and trips to Australia and Dubai. Extra entries into the prize draws can be unlocked using codes on promotional Lucozade Sport bottles. 

The additional entry codes are available across orange, raspberry, mango and passionfruit and orange low cal variants in 500ml and 4x500ml formats.

Steven Hind, Lucozade Sport marketing director at Lucozade Ribena Suntory, said: “Lucozade Sport already benefits from an average increase of 19.6% (IRI 52w/e 22.01.17) in drink now retail sales between May and July so the launch of the Made to Move app is perfectly timed to make the absolute most of this opportunity. 

“We’re gearing up for another busy summer and with limited national, and international, sporting events over the warmer months, what better way to inspire people to get active than with some great prizes.”
