Lotus Biscoff will unveil its first ever UK targeted TV advertising campaign in May, with a further 2x four week campaigns scheduled for July and September 2017.

Running across both ITV and Channel 4 in the Midlands, Tyne Tees, Yorkshire & Lancashire regions, this inaugural campaign will target more than 12 million consumers during a variety of programmes.

The 20 second advert features international football star, Eden Hazard and follows on from the ‘Perfect Kick’ campaign which ran last year. The advert creative showcases Hazard’s unique footballing skills as Eden hits a football against the target of a Lotus Biscoff biscuit, which is placed amongst a real wall of ten thousand coffee cups. As the ball hits the Lotus Biscoff, the biscuit falls neatly onto the cup’s saucer below. The aim of this is to strengthen the strapline ‘Every Coffee Needs a Lotus’ whilst also appealing to a wider, younger target audience.

This campaign will be supported in store by a national on-pack Try-Me-Free promotion, which will be clearly marked via stickered packets of Lotus Biscoff 250g, Lotus Biscoff Chocolate 3x2 and Lotus Biscoff Pocket 12x2, to give further purchase incentive for both new and existing customers. Packets featuring the promotion will be available to all retailers and will run in conjunction with the TV advertising campaign from May until the end of September to enable maximum up-sell opportunities for retailers.
